Listed below are a range of hotels in close proximity to the Congress Venue. Bookings for Congress hotels should be

Rates are per night in Australian Dollars including GST. Prices are correct at time of publishing and are subject to change.

Other Accommodation
Cheaper accommodation provides a friendly atmosphere where you share your travels with others. Hostel accommodation is relatively cheap starting from around AUD15 per night. The facilities will mostly be communal with kitchens and bathrooms.

Please note that you will need to contact Budget hotels directly, not via the Congress Secretariat.

Deposits/Credit Card Details
Accommodation will not be confirmed until a deposit of one night’s tariff is received or credit card details are
provided.This deposit will be forwarded to your hotel and will be credited to your room account.

Deadline for Accommodation Bookings
The Secretariat has an obligation to return all unsold rooms to the hotels/apartments on 20 July 2007, therefore accommodation bookings and rates reserved after that date cannot be guaranteed.The rates quoted are only valid for bookings made prior to 20 July 2007.

Cancellations
No accommodation deposits will be refunded on or after 20 July 2007.

Early Arrival
As check in is not until 3pm at most hotels it is possible that your room may not be ready for immediate occupation on your early arrival.Whilst hotels will do everything possible to accommodate early arrivals, if you wish to be guaranteed immediate occupation you can pay an extra day’s tariff for the night before you are due to arrive. If you wish to take this precaution, please advise the Secretariat on the registration form with an estimated time of arrival so that we can notify the hotel that your room is pre-registered.

Late Arrival
Please indicate if you will arrive at your hotel after 6pm. Failure to do so might result in your room being released.

Change of Booking
Any change in booking must be made in writing to the Congress Secretariat and NOT directly to the hotel. Charges will apply to any accommodation changes after 20 July 2007. A fee of AUD25 per change will be applicable. Please send your changes in writing to accommodation@worldsleep07.com

Group Accommodation Bookings
The Congress Secretariat offers organisations the opportunity to contract ten or more rooms for the Congress.This requires a contract to be signed by ICMS Australasia on behalf of your organisation to block the group reservation.

No-Shows
Delegates who confirm attendance and provide credit card details but do not advise of cancellation before the 30 day period of conference commencement will incur charges for the ‘noshow’ rate, as penalised by the hotel. This charge is calculated as the room rate per night multiplied by the dates booked and secured. Please ensure that accommodation dates are correct at time of booking.
